Early Childhood Assistant
Anjoli was born and raised in Bangladesh where she attended St. Theckla’s Girls’ School in her home village. She took two years of spiritual and community development training and worked in this field for many years. She also worked with orphaned children of SOS Children’s village International in Dhaka. During this time she assisted children with their education and skill development. Anjoli’s special interest in working with families inspired her to train in family services through Worldwide Marriage Encounter Bangladesh, a company that she served for over 12 years. Upon coming to Canada in 2009 Anjoli completed the Early Childhood Assistant program at Centennial College and graduated with honours. She has been an asset at Lakeside since October 2011. Her many years of experience working with families and children allows her to effectively understand the needs of children and care for them in a meaningful way. Anjoli is also the happy mother of two grown children, as well as her 2 year old grandson.
Kendra has a degree in Child and Youth Development from Brock University. She has also obtained a diploma in Behavioural Science at George Brown College. Kendra has been working with children in many different settings for the past 18 years and has worked with children and youth ranging from infancy to 18 years of age. While she enjoys all age groups her heart goes to toddlers and preschoolers. She loves being able to assist them in learning new skills and genuinely enjoys sharing their excitement when they experience success in learning. Her energetic, compassionate, and laid-back personality has helped the children feel comfortable at Lakeside since November 2014. Kendra loves spending every spare minute with her husband, her 5 year old daughter and her 3 year old son. Together they take walks with their Puggle pup ,go on play dates with friends, or simply hang out at the beach. Kendra was born and raised in the Beaches and therefore knows the ins and outs of the neighbourhood. She truly loves being a part of the Lakeside community as it exudes qualities reminiscent of her very happy childhood growing up in the area.

Meredith is a Registered Early Childhood Educator that graduated with honours from George Brown College in 2018. Meredith has been with the Lakeside family since May 2018 and has been a very welcomed and extremely positive addition to our team. Like some of her fellow staff Meredith grew up in the Beaches area and loves the atmosphere she has lived in her entire life. Meredith has worked with children on and off for the last 17 years, but no matter where she goes her heart always calls her back to childcare, especially working with the toddler and preschool age-groups . In her spare time, Meredith loves to play a variety of sports, take her Boxer-mix and American Bulldog pups for hikes with her partner and she also spends most of her weekends with her siblings, niece and nephews and she wouldn't have it any other way!
